[Alsaplayer-devel] Sound delay on Maestro2e.

After installing the alsa0.5.8b I can use most of the programs fine. 

I have a problem with alsaplayer though. 

After playing a song for a short time it develops a delay effect. It sounds as though it is resampling the music. It seems to do this worst when playing cds.

I think the delay is between 30ms and 50ms. 

Does anyone have any ideas on why it might be doing this?
