[Alsaplayer-devel]does not work with alsa cvs?

Can any one explain why this is happening when I start up. I'm using
alsa cvs but I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be happening. I can use
aplay. If I try using the oss option then it will completely kill the
sound and I will have to reboot to get it back. Xmms does the same thing
too though.
