midi-in is now reasonably close to being reentrant, and the -x option
no longer causes it to blow up.

Could you possibly commit the big soundfont I sent you, pc42b.sf2, to
midi/timidity/ ?  My net connection here times out after an hour or
so, and I doubt if I can upload it.
