[Alsaplayer-devel] Update and future direction

I don't really use the Alsaplayer UI either -- I do all sorts of fun 
stuff to the alsaplayer daemon through the API, from my own UI (car 
stereo).  I agree with your idea of focusing the effort into maintaining 
and improving the core and adding features to the API.  Possibly the UI 
design could be branched off into another project?  It'd be cool if 
somebody picked it up and developed it to the calibre of xmms or winamp.
