[Alsaplayer-devel] IMMS

IMMS[1] is Really NeatTM but my brother and I are sick of XMMS and its
antics. I always thought it would be neat to write an IMMS plugin for
AlsaPlayer, so maybe I will.

Looking at IMMS source, it looks like I will need the following
interface, one way or another:

reset_selection() (not sure what this means, might not be so important)
set_next() (enqueue)
get_length() (of playlist)
get_item(int) (of playlist)
to know when a song starts
to know when a song ends
to know when the playlist changes

The last three are what has me worried. I don't see how to do that
from the header files. Any ideas?
