I am actually learning both because I need svn for the gentoo pro-audio
overlay. I don't feel at one is better or more complicated to use for a little
project as the alsaplayer. You have to rtfm and play with it in both cases.

 and the alsaplayer migrate to

What will be the cons and pros to do that?
sourceforge have many facilities and I don't know the ones at code.google.
http://tuxfamily.org can be a good alternative too. But first we have to
discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a migration.

Another problem is at http://www.alsaplayer.org/ is a well know url and I don't
even know who is paying for this domain name. I suppose at it is Andy but I
send him a mail before applying to take over this project and he never
responded. And I have other things to do as to waste my time with someone that
doesn't want to talk.

BTW, I begun to fix many broken things on http://www.alsaplayer.org/ .
Hopefully, I will be done with it later today.

Can you post a link on those patches or send them to the list please? (or even
to my private email)
