[Alsaplayer-devel] new python bindings, and subversion

Hi all. An initial version of the python bindings are ready. Do we
want to keep the bindings as a separate package as appears to have
been done in the past? This seems like the simplest approach, and
doesn't intrude on the basic alsaplayer build system. I'll still need
to figure out where to put it in the repository, so any thoughts on
that would be great.

Also, is there any interest in moving from CVS to subversion for our
revision control? CVS feels so 1970s, and subversion really does offer
some superior features. I'd be happy to look into the conversion
process to make the transition as seamless as possible. Just a
thought...
