Glad to see somebody actually doing something again!!

Are you also a web admin? I guess if you really want this project to live
on, at least the project page should be updated once in a while. With the
latest news item being almost 3 years old, and broken (as well as missing)
links in the "related projects" list, could anyone not think that the
project is dead?

I'm not sure about the nature of the most recent changes. However, if nobody
has the time to look at them, I would roll back and (manually) apply the
patches to a compilable version. Don't release a version that doesn't
compile!
