RC1 - cddb fetch now works fine (but not *quite* correctly: see below),
but gtk2 fails on my gtk 2.10.12 with the following message:
/usr/local/lib/alsaplayer/interface/libgtk2_interface.so: undefined
symbol: windows_x_offset
I must use gtk as the default skin to get alsaplayer to open.
====
*Re cddb: here's a portion of a cddb file (which appears to be fetched
completely correctly -- congratulations) to show the problem:
DTITLE=Hector Berlioz [1803-1869] / Symphonie Fantastique Op14 [Philad
DTITLE=elphia Orch & Riccardo Muti]
Alsaplayer reports this as "elphia Orch & Riccardo Muti]", picking up
only the last line of the two lines. If, due to display considerations,
I had to pick between two title lines for a disk, I would pick the
first line as in almost all cases more informative for the listener.
I don't know if a similar problem would occur for an individual song
title that ran two lines... the disk I tried didn't have any like that.
A big thank-you to Madej and Dominique!
