I get the sane kind problem with a kernel issue it was some time ago... I am
testing 2.6.23-rt1 in order to see if this have been fixed. But as it is a
random failure, I have to wait at lest a few days...
Maybe that it would be better to try a 2.6.23 kernel or play with the
kernel command line options in grub like pci=noacpi or noapic.
