Thanks for the leads (more than one person) on gtk_interface.h.

I was able to change GDK_v to GDK_space and get space bar to stop play 
of music.

Couple of glitches - one serious:
1) the 'x' key crashes the app. instead of starting play.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

is msg, which is not very informative. The code I'm working with is 
(0.99.80-rc4).  Is there some sort of memory leak or similar? If there's 
information I can supply to help find bug, let me know.


2) GDK_Space is not recognized ("not in scope ..."). I'm a number 
cruncher so don't get into gtk much, but looks like gtk1.2 is being used 
rather than gtk2 or something like that.  This one I can work round easily.

Future stuff: I hope to look into multiple keys for start and stop. 
We've a couple of visually impaired folk, so I want to use several keys 
for start and several for stop. Or maybe look into other ideas for 
simple start and stop functionality. I'll be happy to work with someone 
on this. I tend to be quite good at finding bugs and quickly picking up 
things, but everything is always a lot more efficient when two or more 
toss the ball around.
