Hi,
If you run "alsaplayer --help", it will show you something like:
-o,--output output use specific output driver [default=alsa]. choices:
[ oss | alsa | null | nas | esound | jack ]
Only the installed output plugins will be shown. If alsa is not here, you need
to install the libasound2-dev package and reinstall AlsaPlayer from the
beginning.
You can look at
http://packages.debian.org/source/alsaplayer?lang=en&source=1&keywords=alsaplayer
in order to see which dependencies are needed for the different parts of AP.
Be aware that some of them changed. The GTK interface need the gtk2 devel
package with AP 0.99.80.
