[Xapian-devel] HEAD is broken

quartztest.cc in HEAD won't compile for me. I'm getting errors of the form:

/home/richard/private/Working/xapian/xapian-core/tests/quartztest.cc:59: 
error: ‘removedir’ was not declared in this scope

It looks like Olly's latest commit to quartztest.cc removed this 
function - was it meant to have been moved somewhere else, or should I 
put it back?
