[Xapian-discuss] omega for Red Hat 9

Hello,
I have used xapian -omega library for debian linux successfully now i want
to
use the same for Red Hat 9 .But i am not geting its installation for RH9.
 Can you help how could i get the same along with its installation and
configuration.
How  reliable /functional it would be to use with red hat as compared to
debian version?
