[Snowball-discuss] Compiling with VC++ 6?

I'll look into this. I'm sure we can generate slightly different code that
passes the VC++ 6 compiler, and if ={}; is not ANSI C it must be changed anyway.

It's now 10:45 pm here so I'll investigate it tomorrow,
