Oops! forgot to send you back an email. I deletes all files and restart from
scratch and it is compiled and linked. Don't know what I did wrong...

Ah.

stem, create_env and close_env are declared in your generated
spanish.h=stem.h, unless you used the -eprefix option. If you are still
stuck send back your generated .c and .h files and I'll have a look at them.
