[Snowball-discuss] Porter2 problem

Hello list!

Just have a question about the porter 2 algorithm, maybe someone has run
into this before (I'd be surprised if they hadn't).

When I stem the word sun I get sun (no surprise there)
But sunny becomes sunni
hmmmm, that's unfortunate...

Other words like this are
Funny or sexy

I've fixed it in my own implementation (not snowball, C), but I was
wondering if it has been addressed in a more general sense somewhere...
