[Snowball-discuss] french stemmer

Hi,

I would like to report what I think is an issue with the french stemmer ...

With this stemmer "format" is extracted from "formation"
(cf. http://snowball.tartarus.org/algorithms/french/diffs.txt)

I think the stem "form" would be better

forma                         form
formaient                     form
formait                       form
formant                       form
formation                     format <--
