The choice of endings here was carefully considered in the initial design.
If you remove -ons because it is a 1st person plual present indicative verb
ending, it will also remove -ons when it is the plural form of one of the
numerous class of French nouns ending -on. Then cochon / cochons stem
differently etc. Simolar remarks apply to the other endings.
If a new ending is added, you have to look at all the changes made in a
large sample vocabulary. There will be gains and losses and you have to
balance the two.
