Hmm. John sent me a revised patch which fixed the survey being upside
down, but it appears I only fully applied it to cad3d. In the aven
version of the code I only corrected one of the 3 places where the
y coordinates need inverting, which is why you get the odd effects.

OK, that's easily fixed too.
I'll sort out a new build in the next few days.
