It's just occurred to me that although a player is forbidden from
steering and accelerating if their centre point isn't on solid
ground (with the vague justification that that's where the drive
mechanism is located under their craft), there should be no reason a
player most of the way off the platform can't still _shoot_ since
it's unlikely the gun requires contact with the ground to work.
Since the shots have recoil, this might even save the occasional
life by judicious use of Newton III :-)
