Add some comments to e_prevline to try to figure out how it works.
Seem to have cured the update bug where inserting / between /* fails
to notice the removal of block comment, by removing a bit of code which
appears to have been designed to make this break :-/
This has also fixed a bug involving comments starting //* where Zap would
get all confused about where comments are.
