Log message (14 lines):
Patch from Jacob which I've been sitting on since April: adds
ability to launch multiple URLs in one go, plus recognition of
<URL:...> and <...> bracketing, and other heuristic tweaks.

With this much new sophistication, I'm half inclined to try to
abstract the URL-recognising parts of the code out into a cross-
platform module and turn my ad-hoc Perl URL-launcher-for-Unix into a
C program making use of the same code. On the other hand, that makes
the Unix version _less_ configurable for local issues such as line
wrapping conventions (if I happen to use an IRC client, say, which
indicates wrapped lines with a + at the start then I might
reasonably want to make a _local_ config change which strips those),
so I'm not entirely sure; there seem to be a number of future
directions for this software and they're mostly incompatible. Sigh.
