Log message (8 lines):
Another redesign of the quaver tails; after some discussion, I've
reduced the spacing between adjacent tails on sub-quavers (though
not nearly to the level of the original pre-r8690 version), which
leaves a bit more space between the nearest tail and the note head,
so each tail can look a bit less squashed. Experimentation (and an
idea gained from a paper score published by Barenreiter) suggested
that the nicest spacing is not the same for up- and down-pointing
note stems.
