    Clear both atoms of a pair when a MULTIPLE subtransfer fails.
    
    This is parallel to the fix I just made in xclipglue: it turns out
    that different X clients interpret ICCCM differently when they're
    responding to a MULTIPLE selection request, so I have to assume that
    if they make MULTIPLE requests they're each expecting the behaviour
    they get. Hence, I now implement both...
