Three more variant systems for the hat tiling.
hat8.tl is a manual transcription of the refined version of
hats-h7h8.tl, with 7 clones of the single-hat metatile. To my way of
thinking this has now superseded hat10.tl as the nicest substitution
system for the hat tiling, barring applications where correspondence
to the HTPF system is helpful.
hat8-with-kites.tl and hats-hhtpfff-with-kites.tl are variants of that
and the HHTPFFF system - so that both admit transducers - but as well
as the substitution layers for metatiles and hats, they add a base
layer of kites at the bottom, so that you can use them in purely
discrete code to plot hat or turtle tilings on the underlying kite
tiling by simply assigning each kite a coordinate string.
