[Xapian-discuss] Swig bug for PHP

Just in case others have been having the same problem:

I've been having problems getting the PHP bindings to build at all, 
because swig reports an error:

"/usr/share/swig1.3/php4/std_map.i:8: Unable to find 'std_common.i'"

This is with the debian package of swig 1.3.19

Looking at the cvs commits log, it looks like php4/std_common.i was 
missed out of 1.3.19, but should be in 1.3.20 and 1.3.21.  It looks like 
work is in progress to package 1.3.21 for debian.  In the meantime, I'm 
using the tarball of 1.3.21 direct from swig.org (though I havn't yet 
finished compiling it, so I'm not certain if it works).
