[Xapian-discuss] Remote() support for Perl

It seems there is no support yet for remote database querying in Perl.

 From the cpan documentation: "Unwrapped methods:  The following methods 
are not yet wrapped: Enquire::get_eset(...) with more than two 
arguments, Query ctor optional "parameter" parameter, Remote::open(...), 
static Stem::get_available_languages()..."

I was wondering.. is that still true? Is there no way to query remote 
databases with Perl?
Noone had a need for that thus far in Perl?
Alternatively, any plans to wrap this in the near future?
