All our stemmers are taken directly from the Snowball project (at least
currently - if a quality stemmer is available in another form for a
language, we'd certainly seriously consider it).

There's a thread on the Snowball mailing list about Polish stemmers,
which has references to two "freely available Polish stemmers":

I don't know Polish so I can't really evaluate them.  Also I've not
looked to see what language either is written in, or if they have
suitable licences.  But I'd be interested to hear feedback.

I'm not aware of any Czech stemmers, but I imagine there must have been
work in the area.  Again, feedback on any implementations is most
welcome.
