Martin:

On some of the stemmers, it declares some of the symbols
as for example:

static symbol s_0_0[0] = {  };

This is non-portable as the compiler screams that there is nothing
in the {}.

In fact, I am not even sure what value should be there.
(random/non-initialized or perhaps a '0' )

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
